With only a few days notice I recieved a call to go to Rochester and cover the Vanilla Fudge Gig. I am so thankful for the ability to hold my composure as I grew up to my mom and dad blasting their music. I love everything they perform. My job for the day was to follow Vince for a new project he is woking on. OH MY STARS what a gem of a guy. 

We had a few hours before the show to get to know each other for me to learn even more about his faith, his passions and his sweet family. How fun it was to see about 3,000 people grace the Mayo field to support these legends of Rock.

I met JR after a friend really thought I should experience a sound bath for my own personal healing. After doing some research I learned that sound baths are scientifically proven to have so many healing benefits to your body. The day after my sound bath I noticed a significant differece and had to call New Folk Records right away to see if we could get her signed.

 She had a phone call with Ken, we had meeting for coffee, and the next thing we knew we were both booked for a trip to Hawaii to photograph her album artwork.  JennieRuth and I both have a deep level of faith and believe everything was a divine sign that we are on the right path. 

The moment I met April, I knew that this wouldn’t be the last time I got to spend

time with her. As we began working together, I wasn’t surprised to find that we

had so much in common with our faith, travels, values, and shared joy in music

and sound that resonated with peoples souls.

While planning our artwork, April would describe the photo ideas with me. It was

then I realized that she had been list

Willie West and his wife Pat became family members the moment I met them. I immediately felt connected to his stories and feel so blessed to call them my friends.

The way the universe sends artists my way will never cease to amaze me. I was headed to Hawai'i to photograph JennieRuth when Mark Healey, of Badfinger told me of another artist that needed some work done for his new album. I was so excited to meet Chris as I had heard some of the mixing of his Jazz and blues album and thought that this was music the word really needs right now. 

We had a really fun time as we walked the grounds of the K'hala and he told me his stories of his journey and some of the history of the island. 

I feel lucky that we got a chance to meet here in Hawai'i and I'll always cherish the fine work you did.
